HELLIX CONFIRMS FORMER HIGH GRADE RESULTS
HELLIX VENTURES INC. - HEL:TSX.V/HLLXF:OTC - Frank Underhill, President of Hellix Ventures Inc., reports the following comments on its Las Minitas project, Taylotita District, Durango State Mexico.
Recent underground channel samples were taken within Las Leones 1 tunnel to verify various high values taken in 2007 by SEM, the exploration arm of the Mexican government. Two impressive samples returned respective values of 202 and 975 gpt Ag, 1.49 and 2.21 gpt Au over 2.6 and 2.21 metre widths. These generally confirmed the SEM values.
Structural mapping completed recently at Minitas indicated that while the principal Cobreza structure continues open to the west, the area contains multiple fault structures adding to its general complexity. This also tends to provide potential access to hydrothermal solutions that have mineralized the area.
A number of properties in and around the states of Durango and Chihuahua have been examined. While no options have been negotiated, the company continues to be impressed by the number and quality of the properties available in Mexico.
The Minitas remains Hellix’s top priority project. An announcement on the precise drill commencement date will be made shortly.
